Recipient of Nova Scotia’s prestigious Established Artist Award and the 2019 winner of Theatre Nova Scotia’s Merritt Award for Choreography, Véronique has had a busy season, creating for the stage, opera, musical theatre and film. This past season included work with Willem Defoe and Robert Pattinson in The Lighthouse (New Regency Films), Eastern Front Theatre’s successful production of KampThe Musical, the Opera N.S. production of La Finta Giardineira, assistant choreographer under Neptune Theatre’s Chrysalis program for the holiday hit of Cinderella and on the Fountain School of Performing Arts opera, l’Etoile, with director David Overton.

This season, Véronique will be directing and choreographing for Opera Nova Scotia’s production of The Gondoliers, as well as working on the children’s opera Brundibar (Halifax Theatre for Young People), Keep Good Theatre’s production of The Children, and the Festival Antigonish production of Ben Hur, and on the multimedia experience of Light in the Forest with Holly Carr and Jennifer King.

Véronique serves on faculty at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD University), Neptune Theatre School, The Fountain School of Performing Arts (Dalhousie University), and Halifax Dance. V is also a visual artist.
