Germination and Germination 2.0 was a creative workshop hosted by Keep Good (Theatre) Company aimed at nurturing the initial stages of theatrical projects. Led by Kalale Dalton-Lutale and Gillian Clark, the workshop provided participants with tools and collaborative exercises to develop their ideas further. The sessions, conducted over five meetings within two weeks, encouraged idea sharing and world-building, fostering a supportive environment for project growth. Additionally, guest artists shared insights into their practices with participants.
The workshop prioritized inclusivity and equity, offering an honorarium of $2000 to participants and providing support for access needs, including childcare, ASL interpretation, and meal vouchers. The initiative aimed to support artists from diverse backgrounds, including IBPOC, Queer, Disabled, Neurodivergent, and those living with chronic illness or pain.
