Martha Irving is an award-winning Nova Scotia-based actor, director, and producer. She has performed across the country in roles as diverse as wife Linda to George Wendt’s Willy Loman in Death of a Salesman to Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest to the Fairy Godmother in Neptune’s Cinderella. She’s a regular on the Neptune Theatre stage, appearing in over 30 productions. Co-founder of Halifax’s LunaSea Theatre with the wonderful Mauralea Austin, Mary-Colin Chisholm, and Sherry Smith, Martha has directed, acted, and produced over 20 productions for the company. She has been nominated for and received numerous awards, including a Merritt for Outstanding Actress for Ibsen’s Ghosts and the Mayor’s Award for Achievement in Theatre.
