We’re heading to Montreal for the first time as part of the Wildside Festival at Centaur Theatre. Let’s Try This Standing has four performances from January 5-9. Tell your friends!
Let’s Try This Standing had a hugely successful run at SummerWorks. Thank you to our audiences, the reviewers, and the festival. Thank you also to the Nova Scotia Department of Communities, Culture, and Heritage and to the Canada Council for the Arts for funding support. Some highlights:
“Everybody needs to see this”
“Not everyone can maintain a sense of humour after enduring a near-death experience, but writer-performer Gillian Clark brings wit, optimism and honesty to her compelling show.”
“5 must-see shows at SummerWorks 2017”
“Honest. Hilarious. Incredibly Impactful.”
We are psyched to be taking Let’s Try This Standing to the SummerWorks Performance Festival in Toronto from August 4 – 13.
On May 20th, Eastern Front Theatre presents a work-in-progress reading of the Adventures of Never Growing Up, Gillian Clark’s newest play, at the STAGES Festival. Tickets are just $5 and you can book yours here.
Let’s Try This Standing tours to St. Catharines for the In The Soil Arts Festival at the end of April. Details here.
Tickets are Pay What You Can in advance, and $20 at the door… so why wait?
“I still struggle with a lot of things about my accident,” she said. “This play is a way of finding control in a situation that was so out of control.”
“For the most part when I’m performing the show it’s just joy,” she said.
